Are your STRENGTHS sometimes a double edge sword where they are also a weakness?

What are your strengths? Consider the areas where your most confident and feel you do best.  This may include your skills for organizing, public speaking, immediacy, being social and taking charge.  These talents likely have helped propel you forward and achieve many of your goals.  But, is it possible that some of our strengths may also be part of a double edge sword that cuts both ways and actually leads to some of your weaknesses?  Do you ever take charge of a situation without remembering to assess and appreciate the value of input from others?  Are you great at initiating conversations with other professionals but sometimes have difficulty translating socializing into actual networking contacts?  Can you become so organized that you spend more time getting prepared to the point that you never actually start doing?    Sometimes we get so comfortable and caught up in what we do well that we forget that those same strengths can get in the way and actually lead to some of our weaknesses.

Join W.O.M.E.N. at our next empowerment meeting as we help you assess, develop and capitalize on your strengths while recognizing the need to shield against where your strengths alone may be keeping you from moving towards your own personal life success.

From one empowered woman to another… make your dreams a reality!
